AMF Panel
Auto mains failure panels that start your diesel generator when the grid fails, transfer the load, and switch back when mains power returns.
Power Factor & Generator Panels
Automatic power factor correction panels that switch capacitor banks in steps to hold your power factor near the target and help avoid utility penalties.
Inductive loads such as motors, pumps and compressors pull your power factor down. That raises your kVA demand and can attract penalties from the electricity utility. An automatic power factor correction (APFC) panel measures power factor continuously and switches capacitor banks in and out, step by step, to keep it close to the target.
We build standalone APFC panels and combined distribution-cum-APFC panels, sized in kVAR to your connected load and number of switching steps.
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Capacity | Sized in kVAR to your load, e.g. 200 or 400 kVAR |
| Control | Automatic, APFC relay with step switching |
| Busbar | Aluminium, e.g. 800 A |
| Operating voltage | 380 / 415 / 440 V AC, 3-phase, 4-wire |
| Frequency | 50 Hz |
| Short-circuit rating | Up to 50 kA for 1 s (CPRI-tested); higher on request |
| Degree of protection | Up to IP55 (CPRI-tested) |
| Internal separation | Up to Form 4 |
| Sheet steel | CRCA, 2 mm or 1.6 mm as specified |
| Surface finish | 7-tank pre-treatment, powder coated up to 100 microns |
| Busbars | Aluminium, TPN, rated to the load |
| Standard | IS/IEC 61439-1 and 61439-2 |
